Kagome

Chop masala

Ingredients:

  • Onion sliced – 10 kg
  • Turmeric powder – 4 – 5 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 350 – 400 gm
  • Kagome TTC – 1 kg
  • Water – 4 – 4.5 ltrs
  • Oil – 1 ltr
  • Coriander Powder – 30 – 35 gms
  • Salt – to taste ( 150 – 200 gm)
  • Garam masala – 80 – 90 gms
  • Red Chilli Powder – 40 – 50 gms

Instructions:

  1. Take oil in a wok, then add sliced onion & cook it till it turns medium golden brown.
  2. Then add Ginger Garlic paste then cook it for 8 – 10 mins.
  3. Add salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & garam masala & cook it till the oil comes on the surface.
  4. Dilute Kagome TTc with water
  5. Add diluted Kagome TTc to the pan then cook it for another 15 – 20 mins until the oil layer comes over the surface & use it for making dishes like rajma, dal tadka etc.
    Note: it is the base masala which can be use in making different dishes.
